Mynd

MYND (from the Icelandic word for “image”), a project that reinterprets and redefines the boundaries of contemporary jazz, was born in 2022 from the creative collaboration of Manuel Marocchi (keystation & electronics) and Mirko Pedrotti (vibes & synth), two musicians with a visionary approach to composition and improvisation. Through their musical understanding, they have laid the foundation for a project that integrates electronics with the timbral richness of acoustic instruments. With the addition of Massimiliano Milesi (tenor sax & synth) and Daniele Cavalca (drums & electronics), MYND has found its definitive configuration, bringing together four unique musical personalities into a cohesive and dynamic ensemble.
